The daily companion for the first 90 days of an antidepressant.
Causiq is built for adults starting an SSRI or SNRI for depression or anxiety. Sixty seconds a day. A clearer picture of what's the medication and what's everything else — tracked, not interpreted.
- For general wellness & awareness
- For the days between check-ins
- No streaks, no clinical scales
Causiq in one paragraph. It is a general wellness and awareness app for the first 90 days of an antidepressant. Designed for adults aged 25 to 45 in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia who recently started an SSRI or SNRI such as Lexapro, Zoloft, Prozac, Cymbalta, or Effexor — intended for awareness and self-tracking only. Causiq is not a substitute for medical advice.
The problem
The first 90 days of an antidepressant is the highest-stakes, lowest-supported window in mental healthcare.
Side effects are loud and the benefits are quiet. Appointments are short and weeks apart. Around 42% of people stop their antidepressant in the first month, and roughly 72% stop within 90 days — often based on memory and feeling rather than evidence.
Causiq is built for that exact window. When you want to reflect on how things have been going, you have something to look back on.
Who Causiq is for
If you started an SSRI or SNRI in the last 90 days, Causiq is for you.
Causiq is built specifically for adults beginning antidepressant treatment for depression or anxiety — including Lexapro (escitalopram), Zoloft (sertraline), Prozac (fluoxetine), Cymbalta (duloxetine), Effexor (venlafaxine), and other SSRIs and SNRIs prescribed by a doctor.
You're in week 1–12
Side effects are peaking, mood is unclear, and you're not sure what's the medication and what's just life.
Your next appointment is weeks away
Check-ins with your doctor are weeks apart, and a lot can happen in between. Causiq helps you log what you experience so you and your doctor can separate true side effects from normal life changes. Tracking is the core differentiator.
You've got this!
You're not a patient or a project—just a capable adult with better logs than your Notes app.
How it works
Three steps. Under a minute a day.
Built so you'll actually keep using it on the days you don't want to. No streaks. No badges. No PHQ-9 every morning.

Add your medication
Enter your SSRI or SNRI, dose, and start date in a few taps.
-
2
Check in for 60 seconds
Quick taps for mood, sleep, energy, anxiety, and any side effects.
-
3
See the patterns. Understand what's changing.
A clean weekly timeline that highlights the changes — yours to read, keep, or share on your terms.
Features
Designed around how SSRIs and SNRIs actually feel in weeks 1–12.
Five focused tools — built around the journey of antidepressant initiation, not generic medication tracking.
-
60-second daily check-in
Mood, sleep, energy, anxiety, top side effects — quick taps that compound into a reliable timeline, even on bad days.
-
Side-effect attribution
Causiq looks at timing relative to your dose and start date — and tells you when a symptom looks dose-related, and when it doesn't.
-
Pattern detection
Distinguishes the medication from everything else — so you can tell whether it's working, or whether life is just easier this week.
-
Weekly reflection
A short, human summary of your week — "you slept better four nights" — in companion language, not clinical scoring.
-
Wellness summary
A clean one-page export of your 90-day journey — yours to keep and reference however you choose. Not a medical document.
A sample summary
A clearer record of how the last six weeks actually felt.
One page. Your check-ins, patterns, and side-effect timeline in a format you can actually read — for your own awareness, not as a clinical document.
- Medication, dose, and start date at the top
- Mood and sleep trends, week by week
- Side effects with onset, peak, and fade dates
- Patterns Causiq noticed — for awareness only; not interpretation
- · Nausea — Day 2 → Day 11 (faded)
- · Headache — Day 3 → Day 9 (faded)
- · Vivid dreams — Day 4 → ongoing, milder
- · Emotional blunting — first noted Day 28, mild
Sleep quality improved consistently from Wk 3. Mood improvement appears independent of weekend/weekday cycle. Emotional blunting noted from Day 28 — mild and ongoing.
Causiq is a general wellness and awareness tool only. It does not diagnose, treat, or recommend changes to medication.
What Causiq is not
A short list, on purpose.
We've cut things out deliberately. The first 90 days is hard enough without an app pretending it's something it isn't.
Compared to alternatives
Why a vertical app, not a generic one.
General medication trackers and mood diaries are built for everyone, which means they're optimized for no one. Causiq is built around the journey of an SSRI or SNRI in weeks 1 through 12.

FAQs
Straight answers for trust-sensitive questions.
What is Causiq?+
Causiq is a general wellness and awareness app for the first 90 days of an antidepressant. It is not developed in collaboration with any professionals, is not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment guidance of any kind.
Will antidepressants fix my condition?+
Antidepressants are not a cure. For many people they reduce the intensity of depression or anxiety enough that other parts of life — sleep, work, relationships, the small things that had felt impossible — start to feel workable again. For some people that change is significant; for others it is partial; for some it is neither. The honest answer is that antidepressants manage rather than fix, and the experience of that management is different for every person who takes one. Causiq is built to help you notice what that looks like in your own data — not to predict it, and not to tell you what to do with it.
Who is Causiq for?+
Adults aged 25–45 in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia who started their first SSRI or SNRI (Lexapro, Zoloft, Prozac, Cymbalta, Effexor, etc.) for depression or anxiety within the last 90 days.
Is Causiq medical advice?+
No. Causiq is a medication awareness and tracking tool. It does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment changes, or replace a healthcare professional.
Why focus on the first 90 days?+
Roughly 42% of people stop their antidepressant in the first 30 days and ~72% within 90 days. The early window is when side effects peak, the "is this working?" question is loudest, and the support between appointments is thinnest.
How long does the daily check-in take?+
Under 60 seconds. Mood, sleep, energy, anxiety, and any side effects — quick taps you can do on your worst day.
Will Causiq make me question whether to stay on my medication?+
No. Causiq is a self-tracking tool only. It surfaces patterns in your own data for your awareness — it does not give treatment advice, guidance, or nudge users toward any health decision.
Does Causiq cost money?+
Causiq is free during early access. After launch, the daily check-in and basic timeline are free; an optional paid plan adds advanced pattern detection and the 90-day wellness summary export.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Sensitive health data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), never sold, never used for ads, and you can export or delete everything at any time.
How is Causiq different from Bearable, MyTherapy, or Daylio?+
Bearable is a general chronic-illness tracker. MyTherapy is a generic medication reminder. Daylio is a generic mood diary that isn't medication-aware. Causiq is the only app whose check-in flow, summary format, and pattern-detection logic are designed around how SSRIs and SNRIs actually feel in the first 90 days.
Where will Causiq be available?+
Causiq is launching on the Apple App Store and Google Play, with early access opening in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
