About Causiq

Why Causiq exists.

Causiq was created for people living with depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. The idea behind it is straightforward: that how you feel, and what you think, deserves to be recorded clearly, privately, and in your own words.

When medication is prescribed, a great deal changes at once. Sleep shifts. Energy shifts. Mood moves in ways that are difficult to attribute to any one thing. Causiq was built to help people see how those weeks actually unfolded — what changed, when it changed, and what stayed the same — so the picture rests on a record rather than memory alone.

Causiq does not interpret that record, and it does not advise. It keeps track. What the patterns mean is a conversation for you and the people who care for you.

You are not the only one in this.

The early weeks of treatment can feel isolating, particularly in the stretch between appointments. Many people have moved through this same window, quietly and without much support. Help is available to anyone ready to ask for it — a doctor, a counsellor, a trusted person, or a support service where you live. Asking is not a setback. More often, it is the step that makes everything after it easier.

What guides the way it was built.

Tracked, not interpreted.

Causiq records what you tell it. It does not diagnose, score, or tell you what to do next.

Private by default.

Your record is encrypted, never sold, never advertised against, and can be exported or deleted in full at any time.

No pressure to perform.

No streaks, no badges, no clinical questionnaires. Missing a day costs you nothing.

If Causiq makes one short appointment go further, or one difficult week easier to make sense of, it has done what it was built to do.

Causiq is intended for general wellness and awareness only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
